Where to sell scrap carbide?

I've been cleaning up around the shop lately and been finding lots of scrap carbide bits,( the guy before me NEVER threw anything away). I was wondering where you sell scrap carbide to get the best price. my boss told me if I want to go through and collect it and keep it seperate i could take it home.
does anyone on here buy carbide scrap? It wont be much, maybe a coffee can full.
thanks in advance!!

Call around to local recyclers. You'd be amazed what they will buy if you have enough of it.

Last quote I had for clean carbide was $8.25 per pound. Email martha@stalloy.com for current quote.

I recently sold 46 pound of scrap carbide for $9 a pound. Thompson Machine in cincinnati, dayton, or columbus I'm not sure which. They sent me back a letter saying that they could no longer pay that price for carbide, I think the price went down to $7 a pound.

He told me to ship them via a prepaid mailer from the USPS. I shipped the 46 pounds of carbide to him for $8. I was just tickled to death about that. I wasn't sure I could trust that they would actually send me the money, but I looked them up and they seemed legit, so I took a chance.
