    Angry SASSER Virus

Did anyone get hit this weekend by the new Sasser Virus? If you have windows 2000 or XP and you are not behind a firewall, you may have it! You don't need to open any files or click on any attachments. All you need is to be on the internet.

If your PC is giving you error messages and rebooting you may have it.

There is a Microsoft patch for it. I don't have the location from MS but I'm sure you can find it by doing a search for Sasser Virus.
    Thanks

People need to get behind firewalls

If people would update there virus protection or better yet get a antivirus program they would not have issues like this, or if they do the damage would be a bit less. IMO

Actually, Ron.. it's not so much having the AV, it's how your computer is set up and how you deal with things while you're on-line.

Fortunately, most people use Micro$oft, which makes it very easy for hackers to attack your system.

I guess It sometimes pays to be behind the times, The computer I use on the net has Win98 because I have a lot of older programs that will not run under XP etc, According to MS, Win98 is immune to the Sasser.
