[Independent CNC]

Just thought I would share an idea that may help enhance your personal or company’s web site.

Over the years I have collected certificates / awards that have just sat around collecting dust doing nothing. So I carefully took and scanned (had to take a picture of one) them into a JPG file to add them to a certificate page on my website with a brief description and year received. It’s just another way to convey to my customers that I have been given professional training and have been recognized for my talents.

PS- I had my Chartered Status certs sellotaped to the wall of my lab- the boss said get them framed and it DOES look a lot better- visitors seem to notice them more... weird.

Hmm I can forsee a slight problem... unscrupulous peeps copying your hard won certs... this took me 15 mins...

ImanCarrot, this maybe true, however their lack of knowledge will be found out sooner or later. By the way the Finn-Power is an actual plaque, so if someone copied it to a piece of paper anyone with Finn-Power knowledge would know it was fake.

My bad, sorry, I checked with our personnel department and they check ALL certificates and claimed qualifications with the issuing authority.

Your website needs a photo gallery. Awards and certs are good, but a photo gallery is even better. Show pics of your best work.
