Hi all. I'm looking for dumpster/curb scavenging tips and ideas. First off, here in Fargo, ND, we are having "spring cleaning week". You can put anything you want on the curb, and the solid waste service will take it away. I've been scouting things for my shop. So far I've found: 12 dot matrix printers. Two shop vacs. Some plexi. Various pieces of wood. I've been thinking about picking up a treadmill for the motor and controller. Is this a good idea? So, my questions are... 1. If you had such a week, what would you be looking for? 2. What are typically good places to look for free materials or parts? |
