Buy me a Beer?

The closest thing I have seen is the CNC embroidery/stitching? machines used for logo's and crests for baseball caps and sports wear. I am not sure who made them, I think they were of italian origin.

Oh yes! I've been to the most famous (and most expensive) bed manufacturer here in Scandinavia, know to all Scandinavians as "Hästens". Those CNC-machines were awsome!

I didn't link to the CNC machines, but I did link to the bed manufacturer.

But if you want to look at textil CNC's, look at http://www.eckelmann.de/textil.html.

there are, and have been many standard-type sewing machines that dp NC stitching. mostly little nametags n stuff. sorta like the sewing CNC equivelant of an etching mill. brother, and singer both make em. start around 600. also, there is a picture of such a machine in the gallerys...

The top-of-the-line Bernina (Swiss?) sewing machine has a web connect that lets you download stitches and patterns from their web site. Its msrp is USD7000.
