| The refers to it as 'geeky'; it is pretty weak geekiness. What about this: Leave your machine powered up overnight with full load of the job you are running and with SLEEP MODE programmed at the beginning of a spindle warm-up cycle which you start before leaving. Just after the SLEEP MODE pause put in a USER M to activate a relay box; plugged into the relay box you have a toaster and coffee percolator all ready to go. At the end of the warm-up program you have an external program jump to the program that is doing the parts loaded in the machine. You come in next morning and the machine is already running the first cycle of the day and has hot toast and coffee waiting for you to enjoy until it is time to reload. Of course if it is a short cycle you might burn your throat wolfing everything down quickly but that's life. |
