Where to buy aluminum in west central IL??

I am starting a new machine shop and I am having trouble finding a good supplier for aluminum plate. I am looking for 1.0"x14"x25" 6061. Does anyone have any ideas on a good place to get smaller orders(200-500lbs)?

Hello,

I have gotten material at both of these places. First one is Shapiro Supply, St. Louis, Mo. Will cut and ship any thing they can. Also a neat place to go and look though the basement of used aircraft tools. See link . The other is Central Waste, (314) 231-2798. The last placed I worked at we got all Stainless and Aluminum from them. Hope this helps.

Try Liebovich Steel & Aluminum in Rockford. Best to try for drop-off's that you can cut up yourself or the set-up/cutting charges will eat you alive on small orders.
