Just wait till this gets cheaper Pioneer Progressive-Scan DVD Recorder with TiVo Series2 . That's what I'm waiting for! No more VHS tapes. I love my TiVo it's the best thing is the world no more commercials too.

personally i have a ReplayTv but i've gotten several friends hooked on the whole DVR thing. several of them have tivo's.

Just to put it in the thread:

it is against the warranty and I have heard rumors about it being against the DMCA

Personally i love the one i have and the one we have at home is even better...the 30second jump button is incredible...makes watching football actually exciting because there isn't a minute between plays
