| oh man.. i would be real afraid starting a commercial 'job shop'... afraid because of my lack of experience compared to others involved in the craft\trade! however, using shop tools to provide a service (model making) is something i do now... it is all about what you know you can do... but then, maybe your 'business loan' can cover the hiring of a guru. do things you are good at! this is why i have like 20 machine designs, and have only built 1!

What i would do is get your mill in get it set up get some tools, and consitrate on getting work for it,then see were that takes you."thats what i would do".
