I need someone to do me a huge favor and make a campsite reservation for me for the Fort Desoto State Park. Seems you can't do it by phone.

We want to camp there but at that time of year (spring break) don't want to take the chance that there will be no sites available when we drive up from Canada. I called and the reservation MUST be done in person at the camp or in Clearwater. They said a friend can make the reservation for you. We are going with our 3 kids from March 6-10 and then leaving to go to the Everglades for a few more days. Booking the Everglades State park was no problem.

I will send the money, plus gas, plus time in advance to whoever can do this for me. The reservation must be paid in cash, in person.

Dude that's messed up that a Campground won't take reservations over the phone.... ???? It's not like people in town stay there.....

Is there not a KOA or a Jellystone in that area?

I thought the only place you could drive UP to the states from Canada, was here from Windsor to Detroit.

You are correct, I guess we could drive UP to Alaska, but it's even colder there.

We will drive down to Florida...

When do you need the reservation to be made? My wifes parents are full time campers and will be heading to the Orlando area pretty soon.

Im in the Ft.Lauderdale area now.
