I am wanting to do something to my garage floor to keep oil from staining it. My first thought was epoxy, but I am curious about other options. The flooring would have to support a 4000 lb mill. I'm not sure if the modular systems would stand up to this. Anyone ever tried linoleum tile? Joe

| I used the Home Depot Rustoleum stuff on mine and it has held up very well over the past three years. So far, it has repelled gasoline, brake fluid, brake cleaner, engine coolant, machine coolant. I've looked at those snap together tiles. But, I think if there's a spill, you have to pull the floor up to clean. Also, most of them are textured which looks like it makes it difficult to roll around things like tool boxes and floor jacks. |
