Question spectralight 0200 mill???

I think that I am going to inherit a spectralight 0200 mill. The software is very old and i don't think I have the correct interface to a computer for it. What would I need to completely redo this machine so that I could use it with a current OS. What kind of software would I need. I do currently own Autocad 2005, but I am a newbie and I do not know if this will help. I would like to cut aluminum with this machine. Is it stout enough.
