Anybody else want to raise a glass in salute to Steve Irwin?



I often wondered if it would be one of those wild animals that would take his life. . .

What do you guys think?

I put a glass up for him, enjoyed his many shows growing up, I think thats the only way Steve Irwin would have wanted to go.

Apperantly God has other plans for him. He's saddly missed.

Steve Irwin, A great ambassador for our great country. A pity our politicians do such a bad job at it.

The irony of all this, is that out of all the dangerous aminals he has dealt with, the stingray is one of the most unlikely animals to strike a man, and even then, of all the places it hit, it was a direct stab to the heart.

Yes indeed sad news to hear, I was shocked especially when I found out it was a stingray, couldn't count how many times I've snorkelled past one or pushed one aside in search of something a little more tasty, haven't heard any mention of the size of the ray, seen em up to around 2 metre's across (6 feet). Guess I'll give them a bit more room from now on...
