 CNC Modifier !!! | |
Hii All ,
am a mectronics engineer .......am going now to ask you about an idea of one person he need to modify a milling cnc machine ,
this person is expert with the traditioanl shaping machines and lathes but he have no idea about CNC , anyway he is thinking to change the spindle head of the machine and to cast another longer head to able to work with huge workpieces .
as for my opinion i disagree totally with what he is going to do , i think it's not easy to modify this machine because he have no idea about the maximum loads that the machne can carry and he have no idea about how heavy should be this new head ....sure modifying should be build in a good design .
although he told me he saw a cnc machine with such along head but am still don't agree with him ,
anyway am looking to hear your opinion , is it right to modify cnc machine or not ?
