| Could someone tell me what the angle of the dovetail is on these dial indicator brands? Brown&Sharp BestTest? Mitutoyo dial indicators? Are the angles the same on all brands? I need to make a universal holder! All my indicators are so old and well used, and the dovetails have taken a lot of abuse over the years! It's impossible to tell for sure what angle they are! Eric |

| I do not know the angle but the two use the same holders. I have a few of each brand and only one or two holders. Scott

The reason I ask is my indicators were worn out by using the wrong clamps! I think Mitutoyo is 50°, and B&S uses 60°! The surface area is so small, it's a neglible contact error! Eric |
