Hi All , i bought a new laptop HP NX6110 , but it have no prorts but two USB2.0, am asking now this queastion . suppose that i want to connect this laptop to any machine RS-232. what can i do ? may be there are any USB to COM ports avilaible ? how to solve this problem Ali |

| My RS232 cable is a 25 pin to a 9 pin serial that I connected to the serial on my last laptop. When I bought my current laptop a bought a USB to serial connector. The connector came with a driver disk that contained a port emulater software (It setup the device as com 4). Cost about $20 and has worked very well. I think I got it from Tigerdirect.
