Sorry if this is in the wrong area, I did'nt know where else to post it. A few years ago I had a family member in a Extended Care / Rehabilitation facility, recovering from a broken neck. One day while visiting, I came across a “non – slip” material that the Physical Therapy staff used and they referred to it as “Dycem” I talked them into letting me have a bit of it to try out for use in my shop. In my opinion this stuff is much better than that spongy foam netting that is sold as shelf / drawer liner & shop table non – slip mats. This stuff is much thinner and ALMOST none of that spongy give. The one piece I can still locate I use between my drill press table and a X Y CrossSlide vice or clamp holding a work piece. It is also useful to place between the work piece and the clamp. The stuff is now available directly from Dycem Technologies in 8 inch x 3.3 foot roles for $12.13 (USD) in thickness of 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm and 1.1 mm. https://uk-ssl.com/dycem/store/default.php?cPath=46_34 http://www.dycem.com/
