Microwave Housings Rendered in Blender3d

Here's one of the projects I've been working on in Blender3d.

I machined this part a while back. Programmed in Mastercam. I exported an STL of the part and imported it to Blender3d and added effects.

(In case you're wondering about Blender3d.org , it is a VERY powerful 3d modeling software that has awsome animation capabilities, and even has a game engine.

It's very much like CAD software. Only more fun.

Looks super, I downloaded that program over a year ago and forgot all about it, appears it has come aways as well, I will have to look into that again.

The picture is really nice Rekd but tell us more about that part, that looks like it would be a bear to machine.

Oh nuts! I should have gone to bed like I intended but no, what did I do, I downloaded Blender. I'm trying really hard to resist the urge to try it out right now, it looks very powerful....and complicated....I might be here all night. Rekd, I hold you fully responsible!
