This cant be right!!!!

I am looking at a 2001 plasma cam for sale locally,it does not have torch hight controle. So I call plasma cam to se if it can be added and they tell me that I have to pay a 500 dollar transfer of ownership fee or they will not sell me parts. Now I am thinking do I want to own a machine from a company like this! If I got a year of tech support or something like that,I could deal with it, but I get nothing. They just want me to give them 500 dollars for nothing. Sorry,starting to ramble on but things like this get under my skin!!!

I also looked to buy one of their units looks good, fancy talk but support seems to be very unstable. After much reasearch on here decided to build my own. You know what you have and how it works then.
