    Making awards

I don't know where to post this so thought this would be the best place. Anyway, has anybody made awards before? Trophy's, plaques. Stuff like that?

The plaques I guess could be some mill work right? and the trophys are what a casting?

    please help

that kind of wide open question and yes mills can make a plaque and the trophys can be made in a lathe or mill both can be done in sandcasting as for plaque there are a lot of software to do this with Bobcad has a dxf file called art to part it has 6000 dxf alread drawn for you and you can just add the text you want

Oh thanks a lot. Right now I would just like to make a plaque. I am guessing by the looks of what I want the finished part to because I am going to have to put a radius on the outside edges, use a special cutter for the nail head in the back, finish it with paint or something and then get the metal engraved pice glued on..

I am guessing that is what I need to do..
