Hi All ,

am having an bridgebort machine which is use a Heidenhain Control , but unforunatly i have no operator for the machine ,

only i have the control manual , i have some problems while using the machine.

if you have any experiance with heidenhein control please tel me because i have some questions to run my machine

so which TNC control you use?

I have a bridgeport vmc 1000 running on a heidenhain tnc 360
and a dmu 50 evolution running on a heidenhain 426

i uses tnc 355 and tnc 145
both are very user friendly controler

o.k , so my first question is :

is there are any differances between the miscelanuous functions M in the differant TNC models.

so i mean M4 rotate the spindle in TNC 350
what about other TNC


secondly i have a machine Bredigbort i start it and then it's control then am trying to run the spindle but i can't , i don't why.

i follow the steps in the control manual but spindle doesn't rotate , although the last opetaor was always do it easily ,

i feel i have missunderstanding with the machine .

so i just can use the free wheel and move axes to specified poistions , but can't run the spindle .

Air pressure is o.k ,

can you recommend any solutions .

most of the m codes should be the same.
M3 turns the spinde forward
M4 turns the spindle reverse

But you have to tell it a speed first. When you are in handwheel, press the "tool call" button. enter a speed, press enter, and hit cycle start.
Then enter the M3 and press cycle start.

which control of heidenhein you are having on your bridgeport. what type of problems you are having with your machine.Have you done the interfacing of your machine with the PC.
