| Restoration to O.E. specs. By replacement of quill and or "J" housing. Replacement of all head drive belts & bearings. Replacement of sliding motor & spindle pulleys. Regrind "R8" collet seat to ensure accuracy. Replacement newspindle motor. |

| I would imagine it would take somewhere between 4-8 hours depending on resources available and knowledge/experience level. No experience? It may take you 4 hours just to figure out how to get the quill feed gears out. There is a sequence and a method to dismantle without destruction. We posted at the same time - let me review your rebuild requirements. What is your experience level? I assume it is limited - hence the questions. Scott

| I think this is a difficult thing to answer based on the info given. How fast can you rebuild a V-8? The NHRA guys can do it in an hour while it takes me a long weekend and I have ample experience. They have the set-up and they work like a clock - I do not. I think the same is true here. If you have everything ready to go, it can be done relatively quickly, but if not then it could turn into a three week affair. I would not recommend rushing this - you can render a slightly sloppy spindle completely useless in haste. Scott Scott
