I'm a few week old lurker here and am in the process of gathering parts to build a modified solsylva cnc so I can make replacement molds for my old car plastic components. mostly a 2d or 2.5 d parts process.
Just started learning and have decided to go with
Mach3 as controller software.
autocad 14 as my drawing software
I'm looking at meshcam and some others to get some decent g code conversion

hardware will be gecko g540 with 3-4 nema 23 380oz steppers.
I have to order some 2 or 4?start screws.
I'm still working on the rest of the build
