    I was watching something on the discovery channel about these, it was really cool. They were showing how they use this one 6 axis robotic arm for stuff from assembly, to welding cars, and asembly of cars to putting a chair on it. They even make these things user programmable so the rider can program how they want their ride to be.
    These arms are rather fast and do some cool stuff, you strap in and swing aaround, spin around do all kinds of neat things.

    -edit- that is the one I saw on there.

    Wow, I can't believe what i am seeing, looks fun and cool, but I can't help but invision that thing slaming into the ground...they must have a mechanical stop to prevent such a thing.

    makes me think of some guy in China, who, oblivious to certain western ideas on leisure, stumbles across that site and thinks to himself, wft, no wonder this has been so easy.

    This robot was at the Tech Fair in Stockholm last year. The queue to run it was reeeeal long so I was just looking, I can only say great watching.
