| Smargaga, Please note I am a soldier in Iraq, I only have access to the internet here and there for 20 minutes per day, I am glad that you have hours to surf. But if you dont mind, butt out, I didnt ask you. When or if you have the guts to come over here, and enjoy the lack of communication, with me, then you can tell me how to use my limited internet time. Sean: Thank YOU, for your time, and suggestions. Scott |

| i have no desire to go to iraq unless some company offers me a wage i can not refuse. these iraq's and musloms etc have been at war for thousands of years. i don't think a few american troops are going to change that. besides this place is not a political arena |

| smarbaga, I thought maybe your feathers were just ruffled a bit: I've read several of your posts before and you've always seemed decent. Please know that you aren't alone in your frustrations. Seems everywhere I go people are fed up with the stalemate we've gotten into overseas (with no good way out) and the hurricane debacle. I have a feeling the circus is just beginning: we are in for weeks, if not months of finger pointing, accusing, blaming, denying, deflecting, exagerating, half-truths, and so on. Hold onto your hat! | I agree with the post above: "smarbaga, I thought maybe your feathers were just ruffled a bit: I've read several of your posts before and you've always seemed decent. Lance" smarbaga: I appologize as well, it is extreamly disheartning to hear of the Ultra greedy oil companies screwing the american public, (they are making an absoulute fortune over here, while we protect them, then turn around a totally screw our people to line their pockets). You could hear them jumping for joy when Katrina showed up, cause they then had yet another unjustified, bullsh*t excuse to screw the american public. It really makes me sick, it only cost $5.00 to produce a barrel (varified by Bill O'Riley). I think ALL of America should just stop working for TWO weeks, and not go anywhere, and at the end of that time, say, ok, you had two weeks to "catch up on demand", so how come the prices are still up..............*sounds of crickets chirping in a open field** Insurgents: Polititions wont say it, but ultimatly, this is about religious beliefs, and I would rather fight them here, in this country, than in mine. Well I am going to get off my soap box, since it is way, way off topic. Lance: It took me making a few cool parts for those same powers that be, to help them see the benefit of me and my machine. Honestly we are a close nit Guard unit, everyone knows everyone and has for years, and years........So you can just go up and ask, "What do I need to do to make this happen", one Liability release later absolving the Army if my machine got destroyed, lost, damaged or what ever and Blammo....... I have already began dis-assembly to mail it back home in pieces, should have it packed up and gone, by next week. Your Support: This goes out to you, and all others on this site and Americans in general. We the Troops have been able to do this war with Good confidence, BECAUSE of the fantastic support we have gotten from our country men. Because of the out pouring of support and love we have gotten from many times, many strangers, it makes each and every one of us PROUD to serve the county and you. All here have said obviously that they dont want to die, but, to a man (or woman), if that is what it takes to keep our families from having to put up with Terroist Cowards trying to crash our planes or blow up our homes......we will gladly do that as well. Not trying to sound "Heroic, or Rambo", just stating a simple fact and belief. BTW: I want if you guys would to give a Thank you from me, to the guys at OneCNC and Arron Moss of industrial machine, both of these places gave me fantastic deals as well on products as a support the troops measure. I did not ask for any deals, but they gave them out of the kindness of thier hearts any way. Sorry, I got real OT here, so Mods if you want to delete this, go ahead. Scott |

| "It really makes me sick, it only cost $5.00 to produce a barrel (varified by Bill O'Riley)." Sorry had to butt in here. That simply isn't true. I know because my fiance's father is an independant oil producer. He barely breaks even at around $30-$40 per barrel. He was losing money like crazy trying to stay afloat a few years ago. The oil producers don't get the prices that are quoted on the commodities exchange. The saudis can get more oil out cheaper because they have so much of it and it is so easy to get to. All of our easy oil was gone long ago. How easy do you think it is to find oil and drill down several thousand feet, pump it up, refine it etc? I don't think people appreciate how lucky we have it. People in any other part of the world would stampede to pay $3.00/gal for gasoline (and the prices will go down). Everybody makes a choice at the carlot and everybody wants pickups and huge suv's, now its time to pay the piper and everybody is a crybaby. If everybody doesn't like the US govt's attitude towards energy producers, I suggest they take that into account during the next two elections. Many of our top leaders have huge interests in big oil as well as foreign oil, as much as they would like to downplay it. Of course everybody will still vote republican to keep gays from marrying or whatever so I don't think I will sell my oil royalties just yet. Whatever happens stay safe out there. |
