Time for a hobby setup at home.![]()
Folk, this is my farewell thread.
Didn't know where to put this but I hope here os ok.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who I've known over the years- I could not begin to list your names, there are/ were so many.
I'll pop my head in now and again if that's ok, but I'm no longer machining.
They got me, I fought as long as I could. No-one could have done more.
This Forum stopped me going bonkers a few times when the chips were flying, late at night all alone and wondering what the hell am I doing this for. It was enjoyable for 40 odd years, but the last 7 have been hell.
Bye all
*Dum, Dum, Dum.. another one bites the dust*
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

You'll be missed. Good luck in your next venture.

Maybe its time to set your own shop up in a garage somewhere. Success is the best revenge.
You mean you've gone to the funny farm where they don't allow sharp objects......only joking......best of "Breetisch"..whatever.
