Lost time

My hats off to you Paul for such a great and wonderfull site. It's amazing to see so many people from different backgrounds and from all over the world helping everybody else with their questions, problems and concerns. Nobody is left in the dark around here, somebody will have the answer no matter how in-depth the discussion goes.

But DAMM_T, I get so caught up in reading the new posts along with their replies, loose TOTAL track of time and miss another auction on e-bay. This is by no means the first time this has happened to me (6'th). This time it was something that I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted and had not seen for many years. The sad part was that it went dirt cheap. How am I going to get this router built if I keep missing auctions.

Sorry, but I just had to vent.

Keep up the good work Paul, great job.

2much, Paul -

I am preparing a class action suit. This site has cost me every minute of spare time in the last few months. I am forced to sit for hours on end, searching old posts for that most important tidbit of information. I read, and read, and read - it's taking it's toll on my health. I am developing a Secretary Spread from sitting for extended periods. The button on my mouse screams everytime I pull the chair from under the desk and is causing nightmares.

After a binge session, it can take up to 20 minutes to regain the feeling in my legs and feet. One time, I stood up and and ran into the corner of the desk because, I believe, my legs forgot how to move and my feet were asleep. I still have the bruise on my thigh. Another time, I was reading so intensely that when I raised my coffee cup to my mouth I missed, pouring the then-cold coffee right down my chin and on to the space bar, eventually fouling it's smooth action. The emotional scars are deep.

It should be even more addictive with the new toolbar , I want to sign up for that class-action suet myself. The amount of time I spend primping and pruning is amazing.

Your site is awesome, Paul. Even more awesome are the people using it. Everyone chimes in most of the time, and everyone seems to be every bit as addicted as I.

You have created a wonderful place for folks to meet and share and it is extremely addicting - it's nice to see that others have the same afflictions as I - makes me feel a bit more....normal!

Your continued efforts to make improvements after such success is evidence that you enjoy what's going on here, too....don't try to pull that "oh - I am so tired of spending so much time.....sniff, sniff" crap on us - we know you LOVE IT!!!!

We appreciate this forum - seriously - I can't say enough about it. The people are awesome.

Thanks for putting together such an awesome place, Paul.

Bud Light needs to make one of the 'Real Men of Genius' ads about you, Mr. Administrator-Man. If only I had the connections....

Scott
