Hi, I'm new to the machining world, manually and cnc. I do metal fab now, mainly gates, furniture, store fixtures, etc. Have always loved working with metal and have always been impressed with what can be done with it. Working with ornamental is fun, but really like the precision of machining. I'm nearing the end of my career at UPS and looking forward to pursuing a business in metal working. What books or videos would be a good starting point in learning the basic fundamentals of machine work. I'm really interested in milling, but know that I should learn as much as possible about all applications. I have checked with local vo-techs and no one offers any courses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
