I'm new to these parts

Hi, My names Chris.

I am in the process of consolidating the knowledge & experience I have picked up over the last 20 years, and do something useful with it.

Start my own engineering business. (feel free to point & laugh).

At the moment I have manually operated machines, but I hope to move over to CNC very soon.

The main areas I work in are, making the 'harder' to find parts for Land Rovers & classic tractor, custom engine parts & some welding and fabrication.

I have also started programming again, in a bid to port some Linux applications over the Mac OS X, but I will keep you all posted of my progress in this area.

I look forward to being part of this community.
