| I haven't seen tubing with a wall thickness that thin for that size in my attempts in searching the internet. Only saw that wall thickness for tubing up to 5/8"OD. Onlinemetals.com has up to 1" OD seamless tubing. I had these guys bookmarked for my future needs: Seamless Pipe: http://www.steelforge.com/products/r...Pipe-+Seamless Seamless tubing: http://www.steelforge.com/products/r...Tube-+Seamless They make seamless pipe from schedule 5 and up and tubing, in many grades of stainless steel. I never made any inquiries to see if they would sell to a hobbyiest in small quantities though. Chris |

| Any particular reason for seamless? I bought a seamless mill run once from Teledyne. Now I get welded and drawn to the same specifications as seamless. Technology is a wonderful thing. Processes change all the time. 40 years ago you might need to pay for seamless. No longer the case. If you want more than 1000', go to Greenville Tube. Their service and turnaround times are great. Otherwise just state the ASTM specs you need to your local stocking distributor. |
