...addicted to this site? I find myself checking for new posts and reading old posts about every hour or so - even at work. I have known about this site for several months without complications but now that I am participating, I just can't stay away and it's affecting my life. I have tried sleeping, eating, working - everything to keep away...I just can't. I feel guilty going to other sites - like I am cheating or something. I am even going to contribute here. By the time I make it to bed at night, my G/F is sleeping and I get nothing. It is beginning to take it's toll on me and those around me. Please help. What's so addicting? I am starting to think it's this guy - !How often do you visit for a little fix? Scott

ok I'll admit to my addiction too. I check in several times a day to read the new posts (and I read almost all of them!) and if the posts are slow I check out all the new/recent photo additions or maybe the classifieds. Is there a 12 step program for 'Zone addicts' ??????? All this 'Zoning' is slowing down my build project! I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building, I must stop reading and finish building. I don't think the mantra is working .Larry

all I know is I spent months researching the web for everything I could possibly find before I built my first table. That was three tables ago. There wasnt anything like cnczone when I started. I would have poured over this site like a fanatic. The laser I got going now took three years to find on ebay, now its running as best as I could ever have wanted. I guess what I'm trying to say is persistance isnt the same thing as addiction. I dunno how I would have got anything done without a fair amount of obsessive effort -- but I dont know if I think of it as a negative thing. owen

| I'm addicted also, since finding "The Zone" I check it before work, during work and after work. When home, the boss lady says that I'm obsessed with it. Later this week I'm going out of town for several days, I don't know if I will be able to concentrate at the meetings knowing that I can't be near a computer. Maybe I should buy a laptop to take with me, Hmmmm.

Well its good to see that some of us can admit to our addictions. Thats the first step to cure. I am addicted to the internet in general. The funny thing is my family give me a hard time about it, so instead of sitting in front of the computer, I sit with them all infront of the TV. I figure if you are going to have an addiction you might as well be able to select what you are viewing. At least you can do that on the internet.
