We have a VMC model: Yang SMV-600 The error appeared after our tool maker attached work weighing more than it's maximum load capacity. It show a error message: Slider Lubrication Time Over. error code: 1028 We don't have maintenace, mechanical manuals. And we don't know what the problem is about and how we can solve it. Does any body have any idea on this? Any hints to what I should do? |

| I don't know about your specific machine, but some I've worked on have a section of settings to alarm out for a reminder to do maintenance. Oil change, filter change, lube, etc. Could be an alarm generated from that. Or could be a low pressure alarm or low lube alarm. Check to be sure all oil tanks are full. Usually there is a plunger with a pressure gauge next to it right by the lube tank. Pull it a couple times and check if it pressurizes. I don't think it was caused by the heavy part. Usually the alarm would read as some sort of axis or servo overload or say something like "X axis servo error too big" or similar. I really think it's a lube issue. Check to make sure a lube line didn't get pinched or become loose at a fitting or something. Hope it's nothing major. |

| If it a manual grease system then there should be a plunger or a fitting to grease it. Without a maintenance manual you're going to have to check around the machine. Usually it's behind the machine or on the side out in the open where it is easy to access. |

| We have lubricated the x/y slide-ways with Grease gun. We can move the table in the X/Y direction in Handle/Jog mode. One Red button on the control panel is on since the alarm is not gone. And We can not transfer NC data to and run the m/c? What is the alarm for? How can we remove the alarm? Last edited by markamara; 05-21-2010 at 08:15 PM. |
