My wife passed away and life has not been the same. I have not run my CNC shop for five years after thieves stole most of my tools. My children have come to my aid and I have a new purpose in life. It won't be easy the servos will not run on my SUPERMAX with the anilam controls. Where can I find help fixing the system? My shop is next to my hanger where I have several airplanes ready to go and all this is on approx. 250 acres of land 11 ponds and two runways. It is time I start living again!!! |

| moldmakers, Sorry to hear about your loss. They say "Time heals all wounds"... I know your wound may never heal, but I sincerely hope your pain subsides. Congrats on getting back in the saddle..... But shouldn't you be getting into the cockpit? lol. BTW, wish I could help with your SUPERMAX....but I am clueless, sorry! Randy,

| Flying is my real passion, When my shop was running at full we were producing aircraft parts for the world famous AIRCAM and I was the first private owner to have one. Here is my all time fun aircraft with me flying from the back seat and a student in front. |

| I'm sorry for your loss. The odds are that the memory battery is dead. Once they are replaced the bootup process will restore running parameters. I may be able to help from here if you need more assistance. I'll keep an eye on your progress. I'm about to do the same machine restart. Don't give up on the mill. |

When I first built this aircraft it was a ultra light trainer but is now a light sport experimental. |

| I don't think it is your batteries. My Crusader M ran fine with bad batteries, but it wouldn't remember it's position when shut down/restarted. I got my new batteries (really a shrink wrapped button pack) at Batteries unlimited. A chain store. It was easy enough to replace the pack, just pull the board, desolder the old pack, and solder in the new. Use a solder iron from Radio shack and a solder sucker to desolder. I'm a fumble fingered klutz and managed to do mine okay. For the other problems, I'd pull each board and shine up the edge strip with an erasure or scotch brite, then reseat them. Five years in a damp environment could have corroded some of the connections. If it ran five years ago, most likely just a connection problem. Finding the problem could be your first new hobby. :-) |
