This is my first post to this site and I am impressed with how much material
there on this site for me to read and learn from.
I am new to the CNC world but I want to build my first machine. I am in the
process of doing research for a 2x4 kit. I have narrowed my choices down but
it is hard to get anyone to answer emails.

Welcome to the zone. This is a great site to learn nearly all there is to know about CNC. The "Experts" here on the zone are eager to share their knowledge and help out us newbies.
I'm in the resaerch & design stage of a DIY CNC router build.
