It has been a long time since I have posted anything on this forum. Work and building a house takes us a lot of time. Too bad I can't make a machine to build a house by CNC. I am getting things together to build my first machine. I am using two lead screws for the X axis. I have bought 4 5-wire unipolar motors as a matched set to use on this machine. Tamagawa 24 volts 300 milliamps. I would like some advise on the controllers for these type of motors. I am thinking Probotix. HobbyCNC linistepper etc. I would prefer buying one that is already assembled. Also would like to use EMC2 to control my machine. Which one of the controllers mentioned would control the motors using EMC2. Any advise given would be very helpful to me and thianlk you in advance. symbot2 |
