    Default Mach3 PWM Error

    I need help,

    I have a Huanyang VFD,
Trying to get Mach 3 to control the spindle

I have tried every port / pin configuration I can think of.

I either get "PWM bumped error"

    Or E Stop selected

    Any help is appreciated

I either get "PWM bumped error"
This means that youre g-code is commanding an rpm lower than the minimum pwm % that you have set.

If you want help, you need to be more specific about what the problem is.

I have tried every port / pin configuration I can think of.
Try the ones you actually used. You assign one pin to the spindle step pin, and one for your M3 relay. You should know which pins you are using.

Try explaining exactly what is happening, one step at a time.

    Thanks for the reply,

I will try to provide more details
    1. When I press the Spindle SW in Mach3 it turns yellow then E Stop kicks in,

I have attached pictures of my Ports & Pins, SS Config, If you need more detail let me know.

    I appreciate your help

Noise from your VFD is triggering your estop input. Try adding some noise filtering for the estop input.

Can you tell me how to add the filtering ?

Does the configuration look out to you?

On the Motor Outputs page, set the dir port and pin to 0, not 8 and 9.

You have Output # 2 assigned to M4, M7, and M8 (CCW, mist, and flood) Are you using any of them? It should only be assigned to one of them, if you are using one of them??

I've never used a smoothstepper, but it looks like you just add a value in the box next to the estop in the Noise Filtering section.

What kind of spindle do you have? PWM minimum should be less than 100%, or you won't be able top control the speed. If you have a 24,000 rpm spindle, and your minimum speed is 8000, then PWM min % should be 33%.
