Nope, last week he called me.
But I'm not saying anything more, Bruce will make his own announcements when the time is right.

Well, I don't know who you are and your not sharing any details, so your reply means NOTHING.

    Thanks for that.......

Why don't you have him call me?

    Why would he call you?
I'm one of the few original CNC Brain owners, so Bruce keeps in touch occasionally.

Hey he called me just before posting his last post. I promised I would get him here. BTW if you had talked with him two weeks ago, you would not have been able to hear him! One more sick dude! No voice.

I will say that he called me more to check on my wife than to talk Brain, but I did ask him to come update.

I have talked with Bruce twice in the past month. All I can say at the time is it is close. Remember this is just the software that is being re worked and from what I have been told, (I know, but I do trust Bruce) this is going to be well worth the wait! Up until now, I have not really needed mine to work, but I am at the point now that I need to make a machine change.

I purchased one. Have not needed it till now, but really need the encoder feedback feature now.

I have been in contact with Bruce several times, mostly by email, and I will say I am frustrated with the time, times and dividing of times that the new release is taking.

I will tell you I was supposed to get a pre release look for testing Aug 28th, Sept 28th, and now it is close.....real close.

Bruce no longer owns the design outright and I will bet you there lies the problem.

I wish I had good news, but this is all I have.

    Mike

ps the reason I was to get a test run is due to the nature of my machine, and the fact that if it will work on my machine, they don't need another test!
