    Cutting Clouds..

    The first time i made some clouds for my son room....but attaching and arranging clouds on the wall was a very difficult task.. The room is still under renovation

    Here is something you can try sometime if you wish to. Behind my living room wood stove chimney is a metal clad heat shield mounted to the wall paneling. When I installed it many years ago it came with high temperature flat black stove paint already applied.

    To give it a bit of color I used my nonexistent artistic abilities to keep it from looking so dull. I found some high temperature white and orange spray paint and added the orange sunrise and cloud. Note that I brought the outline of the cloud "into" the cloud with short black extended lines to make it look more "fluffy". I think you could do that with a V bit to do the cloud outline and the extended lines at 1/2 or 1/3 depth and then cut the cloud free from the material using a straight bit that follows only the outline and goes full depth.
