Hi Eloid,

Thank you for your kind words.

This is a 100% original design. Not a copy of anything.
The tension is done by the screws pulling the belt tight, no springs at all. The dual drives are slaved in the software. They each have their respective amplifier and are assigned as separate axis. This one has 2:1 ratio on the pulleys and I put 10:1 ratio gear boxes on it thus, 20:1. The next machine will not have a pulley configuration at all. I will simply put a 20:1 gearbox and mount direct to the pinion.

Regards,

Kirk

few question...

why a 20:1 pulley set up can you explain....
is seen most 5x10 machines 10:1 or 8:1
I can understand yours is heavier machine?
im guess you have very fast high torque motors
and want more resolution?

I was running a 3,000 RPM motor at 150 RPM. The resolution and performance will be better as I run the motor closer to the designed RPM.

Kirk

Smile Quick update

We moved the machine to the showroom floor. We still have a few things to finish up with but over all I think it turned out well.

Let me know what you think.

Good job. It looks awsome. Is Z servo driven directly to the ballscreew or by pulley sistem?

Z is a direct drive to the ball screw.

Hello ktb100,
What is the servo motor driver? I did not find you mention about this. Is that AC servo kit belong to you or it is after market kits? Asuratman.

The servos are made by our factory in Taiwan. I have a list with specs on our web page. www.majesticmachinery.com just look under the automation link.

THANKS !!
