I have started to make a cnc mill I'm new to all this but I'm having a go.
I made a wind turbine but could not make the blades all that well my hand .
so I thou rt I would make a cnc mill to make the blades.
I would like the working bed to be 1000MM by 500MM .
one day i will make a web page for the cnc mill

here some off the parts the bed is 30MM facing ply it is not supported in the middle i will have to see if it will bend (i think it will )

Hi - neat project. Not sure if the ply will bend or not, but that is reasonably thick. Perhaps the rails will bend first before the bed.

I have found that the ply did bend so I will add a 5mm sheet of steel to the top and change the way my X axis will work I was going to drive it with a led screw I will support the bed in the middle and belt drive the axis which will also speed it up to

That is great progress. Just curious - how thick of Al plate did it take to make the belt drive nice and stiff ?
