want to know what the pro and cons are for gearing the x, y axis was thinking of designing a Rack/pinion driven to get faster travels which is the choice, 14 1/2° or 20° Pressure Angle Spur Gears & Racks How does this impact a stepper moter and mach3? durinng aggresives cuts ie without losing steps or does this improve preformace cuz you have 2x more steps steps when gearing motors?
