Hi everybody, I'm new here, done alot of reading and there is alot of information on this great site. I am going to start to build a cnc roting table and was wondering if anybody could help with some added info. The table I am lookig to build is an operating 4' x 8' table, my first question is to as which motor should I use stepper or servo? and second should it be direct drive or belt driven? Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. |

Mostly for wood, with a 2 3/4 hp router. What do you mean, when you say "generally with servos you step or down"? |
