| my motor rpm is 3200, 200 count quadutre encoder which yeilds 800 counts, i have allso reduced with pulleys 1 to 4 ratio; im useing .5 pitch ball screws (two turns per inch) need formula to figure steps per inch and what my max vel (steps per second) is |

| 800 x 4 x 2 = 6400 steps/ inch. Max velocity is how fast the machine can move reliably without the drives faulting. Use trial and error method.
