    wire mangement

I lost the last post I will try again, I have been working on a wire management idea. I am looking at a few pieces of 1-1/2 square tubing 1/16" thick. they will be arranged in a articulated arm arrangement. I have shown that in one view it is fully extended this will lock into position it should not be allowed to extend fully. the router plug will fit through the 1-1/2" tubing.
as anyone seen any thing like this before?

Yes, I have seen something like that, but I cannot find the photo/web site/youtube video.

It was a blue machine with yellow X- and Z-axes, and I seem to recall that the "base" was a large rectangular "box" and the X- and Z-axes were suspended from the top; I think it was made in an Eastern European country. [And yes, I do have an odd way of remembering things....]

ShopBot does something like this only with a flexible hoop-like device.

And, last and most certainly not least, its a great idea, and your drawing is very detailed and descriptive, and shows a lot of thought.

I have seen some that work in a similar manner, in a simpler form, using aluminum channel sold as plywood edging and with small hinges at the points that fold.

Enclosing it in square or rectangular tubing seems better to me.

    Scheda alimentazione Mitsubishi FX10

    Grazie dell'aiuto
    Nocerino
