Exclamation mm2001 + GMFC = Steppers run very, very slow

    Hi guys,

Just finished the mm2001 board and did some test runs with GMFC.

Result: Stepper motors run really, really slow. One rotation takes six seconds! I'm using 1.8deg/step motors.

I am not using the zener diodes yet, does this make a huge difference? Or could this be a software issue?

Hope someone can help me out here, this way it would take days to cut one piece of foam.

Seems like a software problem. Steppers run way faster (one rotation per sec to 1.5 rotation per sec) using FoamWorks.

However, my driver chips run hot because of current flowing while steppers are not rotating. I'll post a dedicated message on that problem.
