i got a solution..

what you need is variable voltage transformer (it will output basically 0 to 100 percent of your input of vac power)

the material i used is Variable Autotransformer directly connected from 120 vac and on the output there is a fuse before it connects to hot wire

its very simple and cheap solution but if you are only running one wire in shorter distance this item doesnt control fine adjustment so it might be harder to adjust..

hope this answer helps if someone else is trying to do this..

Cheers
Dan

Insulation of the hot wire

Hi Dan,
How do you attach the wire to the machine and how you insulate the hot wire from it. It sound a little scary for me.

I need to find a solution or build one for around 80 feet of wire. What do you recommend since you have more information about the power supply.

thanks

i insulate it from the machine by having my wire connectors all mounted to acrylic peice so its not conductable

possitive on one side and negative on other side and all wires are going thru both sides

hope im clear..

Cheers

That is very good idea but will the hot wire burn the acrylic piece?

well what i have is 30 inches long alumimum plate and that plate is adjustable for 5 wire setup and that alumimum plate is bolted on to acyrlic so there is no heat on that alumimum plate since all of the heat goes to the wire

hope this part is clear..

Cheers
