I have an older Linedance foam cutter, and want to inrease cut length, currently ~24", to 48"+. Updated to use larger nema 23 steppers, but need to cut wider chord wings..
I have tried to find the slide rail used, but to no avail. Close, but not the right one. I don't want to start over, just lengthen the rails. Don't want to start from scratch.
Any help would be appreciated. An old non-working linedance for parts would be great...
Have you tried contacting TDL Model Systems They sell the same machine under a different name called Wiredance. They have a long version using 1400mm X axis lead screws. I think the fellows name is Tony DiLeo. You may be able to talk to him about upgrading your cutter. Let us know if you find anything out. I may want to update my Linedance sometime too in the near future.
