I'd bet given the planform - you'd have a tough time even with a hand operated BOW! Such a short tip cord relative to the root--you may have reached the limits for hot wireing. Have you seen any similar DELTAs/near-deltas that have been hotwired?
I am having one hell of a time figuring out the foam blank for my wing, the wing has a 55deg sweep at the leading edge and a 17deg sweep at the trailing edge, my root chord is 18.40" and my tip chord is 3.61". Total width of the wing panel for one side is 13".
The foamworks software tells me that I need a block 10.5"x 28.0", it looks like they are asking me to place the block at a angle but I cant seem to get that figured out, all cuts so far have come way off and due to the small tip chord, the machine runs very slow at the tip resulting in a trashed piece along with wrong sweep angles.
I need help please!
I am hoping somebody has a simple answer but I am sure it is not given the hassle this machine has been from day one.
If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.
