A quick search of cnczone brought up a thread with this link. Then a quick search on google brought up a couple of hits on the first page here. The first one in particular looked pretty well explained.

Were you having problems with the search or just didn't try it first?

As you are finding out, plans are not plentiful. Most like me I believe take a look at the pictures and design there own. It is not hard and depends on what you have for parts and how much you want to spend. Mine after about a year looking and playing around is made from drawer slides that are twinned on the x axis and they have the steel ball tracks. My mounts are alum. and plastic and the leadscrews have bearings to make the 3/8"x16tpi easier to rotate. Enclosed are a couple of pic's.

vulcom1: on your drive cabinet is it volt meter or amper meter.

The meter is an amp meter made from a DC 1 milliamp meter with a shunt across the poles. Reads from 1 to 10 amps and it is on my heat control that I built separately.
