This might be a shot in the dark but I have always hooked up 4 wires as
black
red
green
blue

I have a 4 Axis TB6560 CNC Stepper Motor Driver Board Controller.And the motor hook up.
A+
A-
B+
B-
I tryied
A+ as A red
A- as a black
B+ as B white
B- as b green
The motor are on but all that happens the relay clicks
2 wrongs don't make a right
But 2 Wrights makes a Airplane

If you have an 8 wire motor (23-205-DS8) you are partially correct. The motor has 4 coils and you are connected to each end. Connect the yellow and blue together and also connect orange and brown together. If it does not run then reverse the red and black connections.
